Jeff Woods is a powerhouse indie soul-blues-funk-rock-americana singer & songwriter in Nashville, TN. He is heavily influenced by the rich sounds of Muscle Shoals, Detroit-Motown, Memphis, New Orleans, Chicago, Nashville, and his home roots of Bristol, TN. His vocal pedigree is deeply rooted from soul music mixed with a unique vocal story of rock, funk, blues, and gospel. This has made him versatile enough to sing on any stage. Jeff Woods has opened up for legends like: Steve Cropper, Kansas, Joe Bonamassa, KC-i & Jojo, co-headlined a show with country singer John Berry, & several other artists over the years.

In 2024, Jeff got to sing and perform at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. It was a goal and dream for Jeff to sing in “The Mother Church” and it came true. The “Jeff Woods Band” has been a staple in the Nashville music scene for a long time. Also in 2024, Jeff was named one of the “Writers on The Rise” for the 5th year in a row from the “Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival” in Muscle Shoals, AL. Jeff Woods has been called a ‘storyteller of the soul”. You will feel his passion and soul in every note written & performed.

Jeff was born & raised into a musical family in East Tennessee that has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. After attending college at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN, he would go on to record with some well known musicians on his 1st album “Roots & Redemption”.

In 2018 Jeff released his 2nd album "The Count". A concept album to represent his love of retro 70's soul mixed with modern undertones of the blues. The Nashville Scene Magazine declared His album one of the best soul-blues albums released in Nashville for 2018.

Jeff released his single "Best Summer" in the summer of 2021. It landed on several Spotify Playlists & Independent & International Radio Stations throughout 2021. It's been regarded as an official song of the summer.

In 2023, brought the release of a mixtape EP called "Weightless Weekends". This EP shows Jeff's versatility as a songwriter and as artist. Jeff loves all types of music & you can hear some of his early 80's influences closer in this project. The lead single "Weightless" shows a diversity of powerful songwriting and modern soul vibes.

Jeff has headlined and played several festival stages over the years including: Covered Bridge Days Music Festival, Appalachia Strong Music Festival, CMA Fest, Americana Fest, GMA Fest, WC Handy Fest, Boro BBQ Festival, Muscle Shoals Songwriters Music Festival, Frank Brown Songwriters Music Festival, Limestone Rocks Festival, 2019 NFL Draft Nashville, and several blues & soul events in Nashville.
